Snakebite asked:
My wife got rear-ended. there is no damage to the car (visually) only some paint transfer and some of my paint is scratched off. As for underneath the bumper covering, I can’t tell. the lady was honest about how she should handle the situation, and we are not seeking money other than what it takes to clean up the damage. Is it worth it to drag out the situation with the insurance company? How are these things usually handled?

robbyn asked: Agents are always extremely keen about selling my family whole life insurance instead of term. According to the agents, whole life is preferable to term since it does not expire and as a result the beneficiary is guaranteed some payment upon the death of the insured. However, why would the insurance company profit from such a setup if they are bound to pay back an amount that is at least equal to the total amount paid?
I have tried to do some research on my own, but I still can’t seem to fully understand this matter. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

if you take everything out of the interior of your car (back seats & belts, door panel, floor, etc) and if you take off the dash and put your own custom dash. would you have problems with the insurance company if you get into an accident?

I am thinking about changing insurance companies, and I am wondering if the insurance company contacts the lender or if I am responsible to do so?

My medical insurance has expired and I’ve just decided which one to buy next. How long does an insurance company need to approve an application and get it activated??
I have no medical insurance right now so I’m kinda worry because of the swine flu.

Tyler asked: Would this be a matter directly between the hospital and the insurance company?
Or is this a matter where the hospital holds the patient liable, and the patient holds insurance company liable?
Thanks for the help.

My current car insurance policy runs out at the end of the month and I will not be renewing with them. I am getting a new car approx 2 weeks before the expiry date. Can i start the insurance with another company and ‘overlap’ the insurance ?

I live in Michigan a state where it is law to have insurance. I have also been denied insurance by a certain large insurance company based on my credit score. I just don’t think they should be able to pull your credit report if your required by state law to carry it. Hey if i don’t pay it cancel me.
Agreed your driving record should be all they need. I have been driving now for 13 years never been in a accident but been though a divorce which messed up my credit.
wooooowhooo….. the reason the guy with the 700 + credit score is likely to have a better track record with the insurance company is because he doesnt report it he pays for damages from his little plastic insurance policy called AMEX…. again never been in a accident got one ticket 7 years ago been though a divorce….. why do I get denied when I’m a proven good driver all because some one else isn’t. shouldnt they pay more and i get charged the same as the guy next door with the same driving record and a better credit score!
besides I would love to see where these so called statistics are coming from I think its all crap!

Neo asked:
I am traveling to France soon and the Sheghen visa requires me to produce the follow: “A letter from your insurance company (+ 1 copy) stating that you will be covered for any medical expenses, hospitalization and repatriation for at least $45,000 during your stay in Europe.” The insurance available on the internet looks fake. Does anyone know any genuine website/ company to get a short stay health insurance from?
Thanks.

Margaret asked:
I need to obtain Supplemental medical insurance as I am approaching age 65. What is the least problematic way to get necessary information on coverage without dealing with an agent of the companies. What questions should I be asking and how do I do a cost comparisence. It , so far, sounds like I will be paying the same amount for all the necessary coverage, that I am paying now. Please give me some questions to ask or how to make this easier !
